Thousands of Supabase databases are exposing personal data
Security firm UpGuard found thousands of databases hosted on Supabase exposing people's sensitive information to the public web, including names, addresses, phone numbers and user passwords. Supabase is popular for hosting vibe-coded apps. TechCrunch says AI-generated code can contain security flaws, or need settings the builder does not know about. Supabase says its projects are secure by default.
