Who we are
SeedFoundry is an AI consultancy based in Dublin, Ireland, founded and run by Vinit Jhawar. We are the controller of the personal data described here. For anything about your data, email hello@seedfoundry.ai.
What we collect, and why
Notes you send us: your name, email, company and team size, and what you would like help with. The note is emailed to our inbox through Resend, with your name and company in the subject line; we get a private alert that carries none of your details; and you get a short automatic email saying it arrived. We use it to reply to you. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Call bookings: the calendar on our call page is run by Cal.com and loads from Cal.com when you reach it on that page, so Cal.com sees your IP address and browser even if you do not book. When you book, Cal.com collects your name, email, the time you pick and anything you add, and sends us a copy so we can hold the call. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a possible contract.
Event interest: when you register interest in an event, we keep your email address on a list for that event, held with Resend. We use it to send you one confirmation and, later, the date and how to take a place. A copy of the sign-up, with your address, is also emailed to our inbox, and we get a private alert that does not contain your address. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
Email newsletter (closed to new sign-ups): if you signed up to our email newsletter before October 2026, your address stays on that list, held with Resend, and is used only to send the newsletter. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link or by emailing us. New sign-ups now happen through the WhatsApp community.
People we contact first: we sometimes email people we would like to invite to speak at or attend our events, and businesses we think we could help. We find their names and work contact details in public sources, such as their organisation's website or a public professional profile. We keep the name, the organisation, the contact details we used, a short note of the public information that made us get in touch, and what we sent and when. These are one-to-one emails sent through Resend, and we check whether they were delivered; we do not track opens or clicks. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in inviting speakers and offering our services. If you do not want to hear from us, reply or email hello@seedfoundry.ai and we will stop, delete your details, and keep only a note not to contact you again.
WhatsApp community: if you join, WhatsApp (Meta) processes your phone number and profile under its own terms, and other members and admins of the community can see them. We only use the community to share updates and answer questions. Legal basis: your consent; you can leave the community at any time. When you tap a Join button on this site we count the tap (which button, and the country Cloudflare reports for the visit) before sending you to WhatsApp. We do not keep your IP address with the count.
Visit counts: we count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookie, stores nothing on your device and does not follow you from site to site. It records the page viewed, the site you came from, your browser and device type, your country and how fast the page loaded. We see totals only and cannot tell who you are from them. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are read.
Form protection: to stop our forms being abused, the site counts how many form posts come from one IP address, for up to ten minutes. The count is held in memory only and is not saved. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the forms working.
Server logs: our host, Cloudflare, keeps technical logs of requests (such as IP address, browser and the page requested) to keep the site running and secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a safe website.
An older copy of this site at seedfoundry-web.vercel.app, on Vercel, now only redirects here. Vercel sees the request and keeps its own technical logs under its own policy.
Cookies and your device
Our own pages set no cookies, so there is no cookie banner to click. We use no advertising trackers, and we do not track you across sites. Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and without storing anything on your device.
The news pages remember which stories you have read and whether you chose light or dark mode, in your browser's own storage. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time.
The booking calendar is an embedded Cal.com page. Cal.com may set the cookies it needs to make a booking work. See Cal.com's own privacy policy for details.
Links to WhatsApp, to the tools we feature and to the original news articles open on those sites, which have their own cookies and policies.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of service providers, each only for the job described: Cloudflare (hosting, security, server logs and the cookie-free visit counts), Vercel (the old address that now redirects here), Resend (sending emails, from its EU region, and holding the newsletter and event lists), Zoho Mail (our inbox), Cal.com (bookings), Telegram (a private alert that a note or sign-up arrived, with no personal details in it) and WhatsApp (the community, if you choose to join).
Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards each provider offers for those transfers, such as the EU and US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Ask us if you want to know which applies to a provider.
We never sell your details or share them with anyone else for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Newsletter and event addresses until you unsubscribe. After that we keep the address marked as unsubscribed, only so that we do not email it again; ask and we will delete it completely. Notes, bookings and the details of people we contacted first for as long as we are in touch, and for up to two years after, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. The site's own request logs on Cloudflare (Workers Logs) are kept for 3 days on our current plan; Cloudflare's security and network logs follow Cloudflare's own retention.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to you or another service in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect anything we did before.
Email hello@seedfoundry.ai and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland (dataprotection.ie).
