Meta lets AI agents set up WhatsApp Business for you
TechCrunch· 15 SepMeta launched WhatsApp Business Tools MCP, which connects AI coding agents such as Claude, Cursor, Codex and ChatGPT to the WhatsApp Business Platform. The agent can create the business account, add and verify the phone number, register for the Cloud API and check the Terms of Service. It can also write and edit message templates and test messages and webhooks.
