Business Insider· 29 SepA YouGov survey for payments firm ACI Worldwide asked over 3,000 US and UK adults about agents shopping for fashion. 53% would not let an AI assistant buy for them under any circumstances, and only 7% would let it buy without their approval. Accenture found just 9% of over 25,000 consumers open to fully autonomous shopping.
